Unveils yurt holidays in Iceland

Explore is offering new holidays in 2020 featuring yurt accommodation in southern Iceland.

A three-night stay costs from £845, or from £1,135 with flights from a choice of regional UK airports.

Clients will stay at Náttúra Yurtel and visit three waterfalls – Skogafoss, Seljalandsfoss and Gullfoss – and Reykjavik with its mix of traditional corrugated iron homes and modern architecture.

There will also be the opportunity to watch eruptions of Strokkur Geyser and visit Thingvellir National Park.

Commissioned by Explore and built in Mongolia by a family with a long history in yurt building, the accommodation has ensuite facilities and underfloor heating.
