Cancels all until March

The Prinsess line canceled all cruises sailing through March 31, along with all cruises longer than seven days sailing to and from US ports through Nov 1 next year.

Japan cruises paused to late June

Additionally, due to the uncertainty about when international travel restrictions might be lifted, Princess extended its pause in operations for cruises from and to Japan through June 25.

The line had earlier extended its pause in operations for cruises departing from Australia and New Zealand through May 31.

‘We are focused on preparing our ships to meet the [US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s] health and safety requirements for our eventual return to service,’ Princess President Jan Swartz said. ‘We also appreciate the continued support we have receive from our guests, partners and travel advisors, reinforcing for all of us why we do what we do.’

Future cruise credit and bonus

Travelers booked on these canceled voyages will have the option to receive a refundable 100% future cruise credit of the fare paid plus an additional nonrefundable bonus FCC equal to 25% of the cruise fare.

To receive the FCCs, no action is required by the passenger or their travel advisor. Alternatively, a full refund may be requested through this online form. Requests must be received by Dec. 31 this year or travelers will be be registered for the FCC.

Princess will protect travel advisor commissions on bookings for canceled cruises that were paid in full.
