First class lounge at Dubai International reopens

Emirates has reopened its first class lounge within Dubai International’s Concourse B “to serve their premium customers travelling from and through Emirates’ hub”.

The dedicated first class lounge rejoins the carrier’s business class facility which has remained open since July 2020.

Emirates says that “a full complement of trademark services” are once again available at the lounge, including the well known complimentary facial treatments and shoeshine services, and a choice of four champagne vintages at the dedicated Moet and Chandon bar.

A new dining menu has also been introduced “reflecting the latest food trends and customer feedback”, with 55 individual dishes including char-grilled wagyu burger, 72-hour braised beef short ribs, foie gras terrine, and Black Angus tenderloin, as well as vegan and gluten-free options.

Lounges at key locations worldwide, with facilities now available in Dubai, Cairo, New York JFK, Manchester, Boston, Milan, and Los Angeles. Emirates’ London Heathrow lounge at Terminal 3 remains closed to passengers except as a “red list” arrivals facility.

The carrier reinstated its full inflight dining service back in November 2020, with onboard lounges repositioned as take-away bars with limited seating and social distancing in place.

Emirates will return to full inflight dining as of November 1
