Global hospitality group Hilton will debut its titular brand in Cambodia.
Hilton Phnom Penh will occupy a central location in the Cambodian capital and is slated to open by 2022.
Amenities planned at the 280-room hotel include an all-day dining restaurant, lobby bar, and fitness centre.
“We believe the strength of Hilton brand will go a long way in helping to boost Phnom Penh as a tourism destination,” said Paul Hutton, Hilton vice president for Southeast Asia.
Cambodia is posting the third largest annual growth in tourism in Southeast Asia behind Vietnam and Indonesia.
The country has become an attractive market for global hotel groups, and not just in tourist hotspot Siem Reap.
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt, Accor, Six Senses and Marriott all have a presence across the country.
The UK-based Yoo Hotels & Resorts also recently announced it is launching in Cambodia
