Hotel expansion in Norway

Sommerro House is set to open in Oslo in September 2022.

Situated in the 1930s headquarters of Oslo Lysverker, the city’s electrical company, the property will feature 246 rooms, including a villa with 15 rooms and suites.

The Norwegian firm LPO Architects and London- and New York-based studio GrecoDeco are spearheading the design project.

The Sommerro neighborhood is itself undergoing a transformation, with a number of restaurants and bars, a library and a small private cinema in the works.

Sister Nordic Hotels & Resorts properties in Oslo include the Thief and Amerikalinjen.
