Rolling out new tourism campaign

Vietnam’s National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) is rolling out a new marketing campaign highlighted the huge array of experiences on offer across the country.

#VietnamNOW is a modern updated view of Vietnam it wants to showcase to the world and is a collaborative effort from VNAT and Vietnam Tourism Advisory Board.

As well as nature history and culture, it is pushing golf getaways, wellness retreats, and adventure tourism.

“Through #VietnamNOW we hope to expand the image of Vietnam overseas, by showing more of the outstanding options that are available in Vietnam today,” said Ngoc Duc, director general of VNAT’s tourism marketing department.

Big ticket events including festivals, marathons and the first Formula One race in Hanoi next year are also being heavily promoted.

To kick off the new campaign, VNAT is hosting a #VietnamNOW photo contest on Facebook seeking crowd sourced images which stand the chance of winning holidays and Vietnam branded gifts.

#VietnamNOW will officially debut at World Travel Market in London in November 2019.
