Singapore-based LCC Scoot has today launched is first flight to London Gatwick (LGW).

The airline originally intended to begin a Singapore (SIN)-London Gatwick service via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) in December, but the start date was pushed back following the omicron outbreak.

Flights will initially operate twice a week on Sundays and Tuesdays using 787-8s. A Thursday flight will be added from May 5.
