From the great empire to new holiday destinations
The two Chinese provinces of Chongqing and Anhui, as well as the metropolitan city of Shanghai, together with the Chinese Cultural Center in Copenhagen represent China on Holidays for All. Chongqing offers plenty of history, culture, shopping and the Chinese response to fondue, namely hot pot, while Anhui is known for its magnificent mountains and ancient well-preserved cities dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties of the country. Shanghai is China’s largest city, a vibrant metropolis changing into a mix of towering skyscrapers and traditional Chinese temples.

“You’ve probably heard of all the major tourist attractions in China, such as The Great Wall of China, but our country also has much else to offer. At a total of 960 square kilometers, there are 55 World Heritage sites to date in China, so there are many destinations to explore. It is our job to spread the message and open the doors to China’s many provinces and metropolitan cities by representing our country on the Danish Travel Show, ”says Mr. Li Zhang, director of the Chinese Cultural Center and the Chinese Tourist Office in Copenhagen.

During the show, Chongqing, Anhui and Shanghai offer both singing and dancing, lots of tastings and inspiration for exciting destinations. There will also be a number of travel agencies that specialize in everything from tailor-made experiences to pre-packaged tours in China. The very small ones in the family can get classic Chinese face masks painted at the fair, while the adults can become wiser about China’s many opportunities at the Chinese Cultural Center’s own booth.

In addition to China, there are experiences and destinations for all tastes at Holidays for All. Visitors to the five thematic areas abroad, Denmark, Camping, Outdoors and Golf can explore the many travel experts who are ready with news, holiday and travel offers and personal advice.
