World’s longest flight

October 11, the world’s longest flight from Singapore to New York, and Singapore Airlines becomes the world’s first airline to use an Airbus A350-900ULR.

There will be only two classes on board; Business and Premium Economy, and for the 161 passengers, the airline has developed its own “wellness program” in collaboration with Canyon Ranch.

Therefore, Singapore Airlines has entered into a partnership with renowned Canyon Ranch to make the journey as comfortable as possible. This means, among other things, own dishes that will counteract jet lag, own sleep program and own training program. Everything specially prepared for the world’s longest flight. The following program is designed for the world’s longest flight: • Wellness Kitchen – own dishes developed by Canyon Ranch’s chefs and nutritionists. Among other things, ceviche of wild shrimp, organic chicken with sqaush paste and lemon tart with blueberries. • Rest and Relaxation – Own Sleep Program that will help passengers improve sleep and rest on board as well as customized lighting that will lead to better sleep and relaxation. • Guided Stretching Exercises – a personal training program developed by Canyon Ranch’s physiotherapists that will be found on SIA’s monitors. Singapore Airlines will be the world’s first airline to use an Airbus 350-900ULR, and on the world’s longest flight between Singapore and New York, the new aircraft will only have 67 seats in Business and 94 seats in the Premium Economy Class.
